What is the Custom Object Feature?

You can place objects in the form of images, URLs, text, files, and iFrames in the virtual space. By utilizing custom objects, you can make announcements widely to internal members and guests, leading to team unity formation and business workflow improvement in remote teams. Specific use cases include announcing new employee arrivals and sharing Zoom URLs for company-wide meetings.

Placing Objects

Drag & Drop / Copy & Paste

  1. Drag an image or file
  2. Drop the image or file onto VoicePing (or Macbook: copy with command+c, paste with command+v; Windows: copy with ctrl+c, paste with ctrl+v)
  3. Freely change the size and placement of the object with your mouse
  4. Multiple file drag-and-drop is also supported

Image Object

  1. Hover your cursor over ”…More” in the central bottom toolbar
  2. Click “Custom Object
  3. Click the “Image” tab
  4. Upload the image you want to share
  5. Enter the URL to redirect to when the image is clicked (optional)
  6. Enter content if a description is needed (size, color, and font can be adjusted)
  7. Click the “Add” button

URL Object

  1. Hover your cursor over ”…More” in the central bottom toolbar
  2. Click “Custom Object
  3. Click the “URL” tab
  4. Enter the URL you want to share
  5. Enter content if a description is needed (size, color, and font can be adjusted)
  6. Click the “Add” button
Members can navigate to the embedded URL page by clicking the object.

Text Object

  1. Hover your cursor over ”…More” in the central bottom toolbar
  2. Click “Custom Object
  3. Click the “Text” tab
  4. Enter the content you want to share (size, color, and font can be adjusted)
  5. Click the “Add” button

File Object

  1. Hover your cursor over ”…More” in the central bottom toolbar
  2. Click “Custom Object
  3. Click the “File” tab
  4. Upload the file you want to share
  5. Enter content if a description is needed (size, color, and font can be adjusted)
  6. Click the “Add” button

IFrame

With IFrame, you can easily share any web page. You can also place Youtube, Loom, Vimeo, and more.
  1. Hover your cursor over ”…More” in the central bottom toolbar
  2. Click “Custom Object
  3. Click the “IFrame” tab
  4. Enter the URL you want to share
  5. Enter content if a description is needed (size, color, and font can be adjusted)
  6. Click the “Add” button
